Our summer camp weeks reflect our most popular programming. Through our 9 distinct weeks, you will find themes adapted to different clienteles such as for a beginner, regular or elite player, for a goalie or for a ringette player. Our summer camps are offered to young people between the ages of 5 and 17, and our groups are formed according to different themes.
The days are approximately between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Two 1.5 hour ice periods are scheduled per day, for a total of 15 hours per week. In the morning, participants will be able to take advantage of various workshops set up according to the week’s themes. In the afternoon, it’s time to put the morning’s acquisitions to work in a friendly, but still competitive game. Between these ice periods, sports and fun activities will be scheduled such as quizzes, off-ice training, etc.
In addition to a week of camp with us, take advantage of additional services such as lodging at the Hôtel Universel from Monday to Thursday, a meal package that offers snacks and lunch, skate sharpening available at the arena store, or a visit to Old Quebec on Wednesday after the camp day.

For the first week of summer, the École de field hockey de La Capitale has designed a theme in the form of an exploratory program. In other words, this week is meant to include all the elements that are taught during the summer, but packed into one week!
The goal is to touch on lessons in power skating, stickhandling and power shooting. In addition, the player will be put in practice situations that will promote the development of individual and team techniques and tactics, emphasizing each facet of field hockey.
Two development systems will be offered, there will be an Individual Development Program (IDP), which is designed to work on a specific aspect that the player would like to work on. Afterwards, practices designed only for forwards, defenders and goalies will be offered to the youngsters who will have the task of working on techniques focused only on the targeted positions. The youngsters will be able to apply the material learned in games in which they will be evaluated by our coaches in order to measure their progress and areas for improvement. Off-ice training and activities will also be included in all our programs!
